Hotel Kalura - Cefalu

Wonderful location, very nice room. Much better to be slightly outside town as parking otherwise impossible. Would stay here again.

Lots of sunbeds by the pool and few on the beach. Transfer them from the pool to the beach.

The spectacular views from the common gardens, the access from the hotel to the sea. We dine in the restaurant and very good quality and preparation. The breakfast, one of the best and most abundant we have tasted on the island. The tranquility of being away from the village.

Lack of service and customer orientation by reception and restaurant staff The reception staff did not give us any information during the check-in, we had to ask for basic information and it seemed that they had a hard time answering. They only tell you where the access to the pool, bar and beach is, nothing about the breakfast schedule, where it is served, availability of beach towels, etc. To keep the luggage for 15 minutes, because it was 14. 45 and room was not there (until 15. 00 they don't give you the room), they give you the key to get it, they point out a door, do they offer to help you in spite of seeing that you have enough luggage, you take everything and return the key to the reception. There were 2-3 people inside the reception and we were the only clients. We have been in Sicily for 10 days and even in the B& Bs they have been much more friendly and helpful. For a hotel of this category we expect a better service.

The perfect place for a perfect vacation! The location is beautiful, the rooms excellent, the staff friendly and scerviceminded!

Fine ocean view rooms

Breakfast was great in the restaurant or on the terrace..Beautiful views..Room views are great.

No help to bring luggage from car...Hotel is far from city center...Had to take buses..coming back from town on the bus took 40 minutes..Taxis were expensive..Had to use a taxi twice. No hotel shuttle into town.

The strengths of this hotel is its location next to the sea and the public areas. The terrace is lovely with a beautiful view over the sea. The private beach is nice. Cefalu is reachable within a 30 minutes walk. Illumination is lacking partly, we found a flash light useful when walking home in darkness. Parking was easy at the hotel. Breakfast was rich, many things to choose among, but real coffee instead of Nescaffe was expected.

We had a Superior Double Room. According to the description they have “outstanding views over the sea”, are “newly equipped” and are “approximately 24 m²”. Ours had the walls painted in a dark lilac colour which made the room dark. It had a sea view, but hardly outstanding. Maybe 24 m² if bathroom and hall was also included. Other rooms in the corridor looked the same, but had walls painted in other colours. When coming home and writing this, we recognise that the rooms in hotel web presentation look much better. Don't spend a penny on upgrading to Superior rooms or bring the photos with you and require a room looking like that the ones on the photo.

We loved the stunning sea view from our room and the engaging bar staff who made our evenings enjoyable. The easy access to the private beach was a highlight.

The units are unique, tidy.

Our room was tidy, unique, with a delightful terrace and wonderful balcony plus tacky decorations. Location: the hotel was near to Cefalu and other restaurants as well as a good restaurant.

Well, there was no view.

Amazing pool area and great variety for breakfast.

Truly exceptional hotel, the stay was thoroughly enjoyable, magnificent location to the concrete area around the ladder into the water. Well-appointed rooms, stunning views over the sea. Separate bedroom and very comfy beds. The good service combined with the great food. Not to mention free wifi🙂❤

This will save you time and money

Fine coastal scenery meets practical accommodation. This hotel provides a lovely base near Cefalù's beach, but expect some dated rooms and limited dining variety. Enjoy the private beach, but bring your own snacks to avoid costly hotel prices. Guarantee some tranquility, but be wary of noise disturbances. The friendly staff enhances the experience!
